An Isengard Warg Rider from the second The Lord of the Rings film
The Warg Riders are wargs (wolf-like creatures) mounted by Orc warriors. They serve as the cavalry units for the Forces of Isengard. They are strong, moreso than Rohan's cavalry, but also slower and more expensive.
The Battle for Middle-earth[]
In The Battle for Middle-earth, Warg Riders come in packs of five each.
Warg Riders should not be relied on too heavily in this game, as they can bankrupt a faction if few Slaughterhouses have been built, which will decrease their cost.
Requirements[]
Trained from: Warg Pit
Cost: 700
Command Points taken: 15
The Battle for Middle-earth 2[]
In the sequel and its expansion pack, there are ten Warg Riders per unit.
Requirements[]
Trained from: Warg Pit (In The Rise of the Witch-king, a Level 2 Warg Pit)
Cost: 500
Command Points taken: 60
