The Rohirrim Warriors are a Rohan melee cavlary unit and the backbone of it's army in BFME 1.
In BFME 2, they are the only cavalry unit in the Forces of Good able to switch weapons: They can switch between spears and bows and may receive upgrades for both.

They are the strongest cavlary unit in the game. No other mounted unit can match those excellent horsemen in overall effectivness. Before fighting stationairly Rohirrim Warriors can trample their enemies, which will either harm and knock them over or directly kill them.
